The WJC Coaches fleet of Chapelhall, Lanarkshire, has a very interesting fleet of unusual or now rare buses. We have been impressed by buses hired to us previously by WJC, and for our May trip we were given the use of BIG 9871, a giant 12-metre-long tri-axle Leyland Olympian that was new to China Light & Power, numbered 312 and registered FC 7233. The weather on this evening was very wet, but we still had a good turnout for our trip around the city centre and suburbs. We are grateful to John Carson, the proprietor of WJC Coaches, for the use of his bus and his own time in driving it
