This event was the last of our Summer evening bus trips for this year, and featured a privately owned ex-Eastern Scottish bus, Seddon Pennine 7, SSX 602V. This was new in March 1980 as Eastern Scottish fleet no S602. The bus took us on a journey through the streets of south west Edinburgh and on to Balerno, Kirknewton, East Calder and Newbridge with the usual photo stops along the way. Many thanks to the owner, Mr Wallace, for letting us have the use of his bus and for driving it himself.
